Due to the Coronavirus outbreak Furzefield Court is

closed to members until further notice.

In the meantime if you are in self isolation and have

withdrawal symptoms of what to do on Tuesday evenings,

check out the list of the programme suggestions that

are posted below and keep in touch by emailing your

drawings or paintings to each other.


1    Draw same subject in your garden at three different times of the day.

2    Draw a self-portrait from your reflection in a spoon.

3    Draw the view out of your window.

4    Look up when in your garden and draw the clouds .

5    Get a handful of utensils and toss them on the table. Draw them as they land.

6    Draw the same still life three times, zooming closer each time.

7    Draw the ingredients of your next meal before your prepare it.

8    Fill your paper with things that float in the air.

9    Divide a paper into six sections and draw a different pattern in each one.

10  Draw a fruit or a vegetable sliced open.

11  Pick a subject and illustrate it a different way for 7 days, on same piece of paper.

12  Without looking at your paper, draw any object, in one continuous line without lifting your pencil from the paper.

13  Draw on your paper something with your dominant hand, then your non-dominant hand.

14  Draw the negative space around an object.

15  Choose an object and draw its outline. Turn the object slightly and draw the outline again. Repeat three times and then fill in the blank areas with colour

16  Draw a view of your garden in one continuous pencil line without lifting your pencil from the paper.
